In 2007, I graduated from North Melbourne Institute of TAFE with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. Over the next 3 and a half years I worked at Day Spas in Brisbane, Hamilton Island and Canada, as well as my own native Melbourne.
I became a Massage Therapist to help people, so the ability to practice while I travelled was an amazing opportunity to work with many people and practitioners, including Beauty Therapists, Skin Specialists, Naturopaths and Myotherapists.
Returning to Melbourne, I was thrilled with the chance to work alongside not only Chiropractors, but also practitioners who truly value healing. Not only do I work here, but I’ve been a patient for over 15 years.
I am a Certified Practitioner of Pregnancy Massage and a NurtureLife Practitioner, and plan to study more in this field. I want to help women have the most amazing and pain free pregnancy and labour.
Balance is an important part of what I do. I believe that regular massage, combined with home exercises and stretches, and spinal care are the most important things. I have also learned that no matter how remedial, every treatment can be a relaxing experience.
For me, massage is about helping each individual person achieve total wellbeing.
Susan has an authentic passion for massage. She has a warm heart and caring hands. Her ability to get into the tightest of knots, even spots you didn’t realise you had, is amazing. She can be firm where needed, but never painful. Susan also has a very high understanding of Gonstead Chiropractic, as she and her family have been patients of the clinic for many years. She also works in conjunction with our Chiropractic Team, together we discuss individual patients conditions and needs so that outcomes are always improved.Dr. Quentin Free,
